“We have always been worried about security situation in Pakistan as our Prime Minister had said at one stage for which he was criticised,” Narayanan told reporters on the sidelines of a function here today.

“Prime Minister is proving to be true. Both countries faced common threat of terrorism,” he said while answering questions on the turmoil in Pakistan after the assassination of the former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.

About the assassination of Bhutto, he said for India and the world at large, “a person hoping to restore democracy in Pakistan is no more”.
