Mumbai : Indian markets ended the last trading session of 2007 in the green as bulls overcame their traditional yearend weakness.
The 30-share sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange closed up 80.04 points or 0.40 percent at 20,286.99, against the previous close of 20,206.95 points.
The broader 50-share S&P CNX Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange closed up 59.05 points or 0.97 percent at 6,138.60 points, against the previous close of 6,079.55.
