GAZA, Dec 31 (KUNA) — The Organization of Palestinian National Aaction, the umbrella of all factions of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), urged all Palestinians Monday to set aside all their differences and show more solidarity and unity.
“The values of unity, solidarity and social interdependence resulted from dear sacrifices offered by the Palestinian people over the last four decades,” the organization said in a press conference here.
“All Palestinian factions stick to the common target of establishing an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
“They work for the return of all Palestinian refugees to their homeland,” according to a statement read by Zakaria Al-Agha, member of the organization.
“All people are aware of the suffering of the Palestinian people due to the Israeli barbaric aggression aimed to bring us to knees and throw seeds of sedition among our people.
“However, we shall never give up our rights. We shall continue our national struggle through the end,” the organization vowed.
The organization, formed after Hamas took hold of Gaza in June, held the press conference on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of PLO establishment.
