Dhaka : The abducted Bangladeshi project officer of a Danish donor agency has been located and his rescue is now a matter of time, Bangladesh law enforcing agencies have said.
The UNB news agency quoted an official as saying that the kidnappers of Hossain Shahid Sumon of the Danish International Development Agency were now trying to escape from the security cordon after their food supply dried up.
"It's now a matter of time (before he is rescued)," the official said.
Sumon and his driver were kidnapped Monday by tribal men in Bangladesh's southeastern Bandarban hill district. Security forces rescued the driver Thursday.
