Ramallah : The Palestinian emergency government will pay civil and military personnel in Gaza and the West Bank a month's salary in a couple of days.
Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Minister Ashraf Al-Ajrami said in a statement on Monday the government received USD 118 million worth of overdue taxes, that had been frozen by Israel.
The received sums account for only 35 per cent of the frozen Palestinian money, he added.
During the recent Sharm Al-Sheikh summit, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert promised releasing part of the Palestinian money and 250 Palestinian prisoners of the Fatah movement.
