London : Police Tuesday conducted a controlled explosion on a suspicious car outside a mosque in Glasgow, Scotland, according to a police spokeswoman.
The explosion was carried out at 5 a.m. on a vehicle parked in a lot near the Forth Street Mosque on the south side of Glasgow.
Police conducted two controlled blasts since Sunday on vehicles suspected to be laden with explosives at Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, Scotland.
On Saturday two men drove a blazing jeep into Glasgow Airport in a failed suicide-bombing attempt. On Friday police found two unexploded Mercedes car bombs in London. They believe the London and Glasgow plots were linked.
