Patiala (Punjab) : Three people, including two children, were killed when a shell exploded accidentally in the house of a scrap dealer in this town Tuesday afternoon.
The dealer lost his son and daughter as well as his 20-year-old brother on the spot when the shell exploded while the children were playing with it, police said. Patiala is located 90 km from state capital Chandigarh.
Police officials said the scrap dealer had instructed the children not to go near the shell but they did not pay heed.
