New Delhi : Two National Security Guards (NSG) personnel were arrested here for allegedly roughing up a truck driver in a parking row, police said.
Lance naik Mukesh and constable Aanag Pal were arrested Tuesday after they roughed up Raman Kumar, 25, in Mehram Nagar area of Delhi Cantonment in southwest Delhi.
Kumar was admitted to the ICU of the Safdarjung Hospital and his condition is stated to be critical.
According to police, the duo went on hitting the truck driver with bricks until he fell unconscious.
“The victim has received severe injuries in head, nose and arms,” Assistant Commissioner of Police Ravinder Kumar said Thursday.
He said the two were produced in a city court, which sent them to 14-day judicial custody.
