Kendrapada (Orissa) : One person was feared to have drowned after a fishing boat in which he was fishing capsized Wednesday in the Bay of Bengal in Orissa's Kendrapada district, officials said.
At least six fishermen were fishing in a locally made boat in the sea within the Gahirmatha Marine sanctuary, some 170 km from the capital Bhubaneswar, local police officer A. Mallik said.
The deceased was identified as Gautam Biswas 32, a resident of Kharinashi village in the district, police added. The five others managed to swim to the coast.
