Baghdad : The largest Sunni bloc in the Iraqi parliament decided Thursday to end its boycott and attend the parliament sessions.
Spokesman of the Iraqi Accordance Front Dr Saleem Abdullah told a press conference, attended by Parliament Speaker Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani whose dismissal from the post triggered the walkout, that all its members will resume attending the sessions.
He added that the decision came after holding talks with different parliamentary blocs, pointing out that Al-Mashhadani will be heading the sessions.
The stand of the other blocs towards Al-Mashhadani were not yet clear. However, they welcomed the return of the Iraqi Accordance Front's parliament members.
