Bhopal : In a programme organized by Traction Machines Department at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, (BHEL), Bhopal unit, Traction Machines website and online RADAR monitoring system were inaugurated . A booklet on the Traction Machine Products was also released on this occasion by RK Singh, Executive Director, BHEL, Bhopal.
Inaugurating the meeting, Singh stressed on the need for timely delivery of quality equipment to Indian Railways and continue the efforts for new developments in the field in order to remain in the market. He advised to have maximum thrust on quality, delivery cycle and development. He also emphasised on the need to enhance facility to fulfill increasing demand of gears from Indian Railways.
Sukul Lomash, General Manager (Transportation) and Chairman of product committee welcomed the participants. He informed about business environment / opportunities and advised that continuous efforts in R & D field is required for growth of transportation business. He also advised to form task forces with the objective to complete the assigned work/ projects within the specified time frame.
Presentations were made on order book, turnover performance, delivery status, business opportunities and threats, new areas of Transportation Business, ongoing development projects, qualities issues and customers feed back analysis etc.
The meeting was attended by participants from New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jhansi and Bhopal.
