London : Heavy drizzle halted England's victory march against India Monday when the home side was just one wicket away from a win on the fifth and final day of the first Test here.
Chasing 380 for a win at Lord's, India were 282 for nine wickets, with Mahendra Singh Dhoni batting on a fine 76 and Sreesanth on four.
England had scored 298 and 282 while India made 201 in their first innings.
