La Paz : Eight people were killed and six injured in the Bolivian Andes when a minibus plunged down a 300 meter-deep ravine here, the Spanish news agency EFE said.
The incident occurred on the highway near the town of Arapa when the driver lost control of the vehicle late Friday, according to a communiqué from the Accidents Division of police.
Among the fatalities were the driver of the minibus and two 7-year-olds.
