Jammu : Police today claimed that it arrested two Lashker militants from Bhalla area of mountainous Doda district after laying a successful trap.
Official sources told News Agency of Kashmir that on specific information developed by Doda Police, two LeT militants Aftab Ahmed son of Muhammad Rafiq resident of Kahara Trenkal and Mohammad Hashim son of Muhammad Ismail resident of Patnazi Bonjwah were arrested from Bhalla area.
Giving details, Senior Superintendent of Police Doda Manhor Singh said the duo was earlier working as OGWs of militants and later joined LeT as active caders.
 The duo police said used to provide logistic support to militants, transport arms/ammunition, cash and other items and help them in moving from one place to another.
They are close associates of foreign militant Abdullah and local militant Muhammad Showkat alias Saqib son of Muhammad Zarar resident of Loharthawa, the SSP added.
