Ramallah : A Palestinian militant, affiliated with President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah movement, was killed Sunday morning during clashes with Israeli forces in West Bank town of Jenin.
A spokesman for al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, Fatah's military wing told reporters that Mohammed Farahati, 22, was hit with more than one bullet when he confronted an Israeli force that entered Jenin refugee camp.
Farahati was the commander of a common force comprising militants from Fatah and the Islamic Jihad (Holy War) movement. The group was formed to curb Israeli operations in Jenin.
