A day before the meet at the Parliament Annexe, the party office bearers will meet to finalise the agenda and draft resolutions to be passed by the executive, said party spokesman Prakash Javadekar.

The decision to change the dates was taken at a meeting of the BJP general secretaries held under the chairmanship of president Rajnath Singh at his residence.

The party was forced to reconsider the dates and the venue as the BJP government in Rajasthan was facing trouble over the violent agitation by the Gujjar community demanding Tribal status.

However, Javadekar said: "June 14-16 were not convenient to some members, so we decided to postpone the meet."

The executive will discuss the results of the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh and Goa as well as the political and economic situation in the country, the spokesman said.

Replying to a query, he admitted: "Yes, (the Gujjar agitation in) Rajasthan will also be discussed."
