Shimla : Leaders and environment experts from several countries will converge on Himachal Pradesh's scenic Kangra Valley Friday for a convention on the corporate response to climate change.
"The three-day meet will dwell on ways to combat climate change through market strategies and turn the impending catastrophe into a business opportunity," Mehra said Wednesday.
The convention in Palampur, over 250 km from here, will be addressed by former Swedish prime minister Ola Ullsten, Richard Sandor, chairman of Chicago Climate Exchange, Giscard D. Esataing Founder & Chairman of INSEAD business school, France, and Jennifer Clapp, University of Waterloo, Canada.
"The focus has to be on galvanising business for a robust response to climate change in a way that opens new vistas of growth and development advancing human happiness," added Mehra.
