Mumbai : Yet another Indian, this time the top executive of a well-known event management company, is reported to have been held in Dubai on charges of possessing narcotics, but this fact could not be independently confirmed.

TV news channels NDTV and CNN-IBN said the executive and his two associates had been detained at Dubai airport for allegedly carrying the Ecstasy drug.

However, officials in Dubai were not available for comment.

The event management company's officials in Mumbai were not available to answer questions. An individual who answered the phone in the office said any comment would be forthcoming only Friday.

Meanwhile, popular Indian DJ Aqeel who was held at Dubai airport Tuesday for allegedly possessing 0.04 gram of Ecstasy, continued to be in police custody Thursday.

His family sources here said: "Bail formalities are being taken care of and we hope Aqeel will be granted bail shortly."

"Although no trace of the drug have been found in his blood and urine samples, he is still being charged with possession of the drug."

His wife Farah, the daughter of Bollywood actor and producer Sanjay Khan, Wednesday said the DJ was falsely framed.

The popular DJ had gone to Dubai for a programme at a discotheque.

Aqeel, who was once a regular at the Enigma nightclub at JW Marriott, in suburban Mumbai's Juhu, shot into fame with his music remixes, his latest hit being Shah Rukh Khan-starrer "Don".

The DJ is currently a partner of industrialist Gautam Singhania and runs the popular nightclub Poison in suburban Bandra.
