Iran's permanent representative to the UN Saturday sent the protest letters to the General Assembly and Security Council, IRNA news agency said.

According to IRNA, the US media had recently revealed that the US administration is supporting terrorist group Jondollah as well as arming drug traffickers in southeastern Iran.

The letters said "such hostile acts by the US indicates its obvious intervention in internal affairs of Iran, which are in contradiction with the principles and regulations of international conventions and Algiers Accord between the two countries."
