Gaya: "Many committees formed on country level and their reports and recommendations came but report of Sachar Committee is different among all. This report has awakened the Muslims and no body can prevent the progress of the community which becomes aware." said Dr Shakeel Ahmad, Union Minister for telecommunication, yesterday addressing a programme on Sachar Committee organised by the District Congress in Gaya.

The programme was held in the campus of Quasmi High School after the Maghrib prayer. The meeting was presided by Chiraguddin Rahmani, President Gaya Congress Committee.

While addressing the gathering Dr Shakeel Ahmad, Union Minister of telecommunication stated that the solution to removing  social, economical, educational backwardness, unemployment is only in only through education. He suggested starting agitation for the rights guaranteed by the constitution of India.

He talked about importance of Muslims to be united specially during voting to gain political advantage.

"Counting has a great importance in democracy and Muslims have the power to make or break governments, but unity is the condition." said Dr Ahmad.

Dr Shakeel Ahmad stated that conspiracy to keep Muslims in inferiority complex is in full swing." we will have to pull ourselves from inferiority complex and have to be determined that if we also receive education and appear in competitive examinations with rigorous preparation then we can also become toper like Aamir Subhani" referring to the Muslim topper of Civil Services Exam who was from Bihar.

He said that IAS or IPS, Muslims can come first in all examinations. He acknowledged that there appears to be some discrimination against Muslims. But we can defeat this discrimination with our determination and hard work, Dr. Ahmad argued.

"Youths of Muslim community have become the victim of inferiority complex today, forgetting desire and effort of higher education. They always think that injustice will take place with them." the minister stated.

He suggested that never think like this, work hard, be determined and have strong will power.

Several veteran leaders, workers and huge gathering were present in the evening programme.
