Hyderabad : Global IT major Intel Thursday launched its two latest software development products in India.
Intel C++ Compiler Professional Edition 10.0 and the Intel Fortran Compiler Professional Edition 10.0 will be available through Intel software channel distribution network.
The launch coincided with the first of the series of Intel software seminars here.
Company officials told a news conference here that by bringing together a unique combination of highly optimising compilers, performance libraries and the Intel threading building blocks, these products will help developers create reliable, high performance applications, taking full advantage of multi-core processing systems.
"Multi-core is a tremendous opportunity, both for innovative solutions as well as for India's top resellers to drive the business momentum," said Phil De La Zerda, director for Intel's Developer Products Division.
More than 1,000 software developers attended the first seminar held at Hyderabad International Convention Centre in Hitec City here Thursday.
Intel has recently announced Softcell, Sonata and Tata Elxsi as its resellers for the channel programme for Intel Software Tools. The channel programme provides benefits and opportunities to drive market adoption of Intel Software Development Products and participate in the global multi-core momentum.
