Popular talent show to train budding singers at ‘gurukul’

New Delhi : Popular talent show "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa" will train 40 singers selected from four locations of India at a gurukul in their new television series "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Academy".

The show will have music stalwarts like Jagjit Singh, Ghulam Mustafa, Pundit Mani Sharma, Shaan and Pundit Askaran Sharma and composers Pyarelal, Aadesh Srivastav, Jatin-Lalit under one roof to coach the budding artists.

"The 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Academy' has always been my dream," said Gajendrra Siingh, the brain behind the talent show. "I wanted to build a platform for aspirants who have a great love for music and want to make a mark in the world of music."
