Shukla, Rufus named administrative managers for England series

New Delhi : Rajeev Shukla, vice-president of the Indian cricket board and Rocky Rufus of the Baroda Cricket Association have been appointed administrative managers for the one-day and Test series against England respectively, it was announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) here Thursday.

"Rocky Rufus of Baroda Cricket Association is appointed as administrative manager for the Test Series against England and Rajeev Shukla is appointed as the same for the ODI series against England," said Niranjan Shah, secretary of the BCCI in a statement.

India will play three Tests, between July 19 and August 13, and seven one-dayers, between August 21 and September 8, against England. They will first play a three-match one-day series against South Africa in Ireland, beginning Tuesday. They are also scheduled to play a warm-up match against Ireland on Saturday.

India will then leave for Scotland where they play a one-off match against arch-rivals Pakistan, the proceeds of which will go to Prince Charles Charity Trust.
