Sleuths of Delhi Police's Special Cell arrested the three – Mohammed Muslim, Wasim and Naim – from outside Kumsum restaurant near the railway station at around 5.30 p.m.

One of them had arrived from Rajasthan by the Thar Express and the others had come to meet him.

"Initial investigations reveal that they are residents of India and were working for the ISI for some time," Deputy Commissioner of Police Alok Kumar said.

The fake currency was in Rs.500 and Rs.1,000 denomination, police said.

On March 30, police had arrested one Insaf Ali, 26, on similar charges from old Delhi railway station. Ali was nabbed before he could hand over secret security documents to a passenger, who was about to board the Samjhauta Express train that runs between India and Pakistan.
