Shimla : Himachal Pradesh is set to get a new chief secretary in Ravi Dhingra as incumbent S.S. Parmar is retiring this month.
Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has cleared Dhingra's name, official sources said. A letter has already been sent to New Delhi requesting Dhingra to take up the post.
Dhingra, a 1972 batch Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officer, is currently secretary in the central Minorities Commission.
