By News Agency of Kashmir

Srinagar :  Jammu and Kashmir National conference has condemned molestation of teen aged girl by Security personnel in Bandipora, and said the incident reflects the failure of the government in protecting lives and hounor of common masses.

In a statement issued here today, National Conference spokesman said that his party strongly condemns the act adding that repeated occurrence of such incidents has once again proved the claims of zero tolerance as mare eye wash.

He said people have lost faith on the coalition partners whom they voted to power as they got nothing without false claims of congress and Peoples Democratic Party the major partners of the government.

Accusing coalition of turning a blind eye towards the plight of common masses, he said there was no respite to the common masses with regard to human right violations in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Spokesman said that slogans like zero tolerance and healing touch have proved false as fear of losing their life, hounor and prosperity still looms large in the minds of the people.

He said coalition government is itself plagued with infighting with major alliance partners accusing each other for increasing human right violation incidents taking place with every passing day.

He said that the net result of their claims can be judged from yesterday's incident of Bandipora, where security forces dare to molest a teen aged Kashmiri girl. "Where is the peace and dignity", he questioned and asked PDP not to further befool people on the name of healing touch?

Despite repeated assurances coming from the state and central government the human right violation is on peak and people have now lost their faith on ruling alliance which is evident from prevailing unrest among the people in the backdrop of such incidents.

He said that the Prime Minister's assurances on zero tolerance over human rights violations were never adhered to which is evident from such incidents.
