Head of the Marketing Department at the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) Ahmad Al-Husni told reporters here late Tuesday that the visiting authority’s members plan to meet with representatives of Kuwaiti travel agencies and tourism companies to present to them information of the new tourism sites in Abu Dhabi.

The new tourist attractions include the Louvre Museum that will open in 2008 and the Formula One racing track, he added.

The delegation’s two-day visit to Kuwait is part of a tour to Gulf cities, namely Jeddah, Riyadh and Doha, Al-Husni pointed out.

Seminars were held in the visited cities on Abu Dhabi’s development in the tourism sector presenting information on holiday offers, shopping, hotels, and services in Abu Dhabi, he said.

The ADTA is an independent body established in 2004 with wide-ranging legal authorities for the promotion and development of the emirate’s international tourism industry.
