Ranchi : Police here have launched 'Operation Romeo' to end eve teasing.
The special drive began Friday following complaints of molestation outside women's colleges, schools and shopping complexes.
The drive was simultaneously carried out at the Ranchi Women's College on Circular Road, at Hariom Towers, at Doranda College and other places. Three men teasing women were arrested from Circular Road.
"It's a move to protect girls and women from Romeos and ensure their security," said M.S. Bhatia, Ranchi's senior superintendent of police.
