Moscow : A Russian journalist was killed in Iraq when a US convoy hit a ground bomb, the Itar-Tass news agency reported Monday.
The blast occurred in the province of Diyala, northeast of Baghdad, Sunday, where the photographer of PhotoXPress Dmitry Chebotaryov was killed, the news agency said citing an unnamed source.
The Russian foreign ministry is yet to confirm the report.
Six American soldiers, who were also killed by the roadside bomb, reportedly accompanied the victim.
