Cuttack: Chairman of Orissa Hajj Committee Qari Mohammed Mustafa called allegation against the Hajj Committee as baseless. Talking to reporters on Thursday, Mr. Khan said these allegations of corruption is fabricated and seems to have an ulterior motive.
Indpendent MLA of Orissa legislature Mohammad Ayub Khan has alleged that Hajj Committee members have swindled about Rs. 50 lakhs during the past six years. He claimed that it was done with the connivance of state officials.
Mohmmad Ayub Khan is an independent MLA representing Kantabanji constituency.
