India has already taken an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the series by winning the earlier two matches in Dhaka.

After reaching Chittagong, the Indian team had a swimming pool session. They are to have a session of stretching exercises later in the day, team manager Surendra Bhave said.

The Indian and Bangladeshi teams reached Chittagong in the same aircraft.

The third match Tuesday is now only of academic interest. The two teams might include a few players who have not appeared in the first two matches.

“We reached here early morning and the players had a swimming pool session (at Peninsula Hotel), which lasted about 30-40 minutes,” Bhave, a former first-class player, told IANS over phone from Chittagong.

“The players will have some stretching exercises at the Bir Shrestha Shahid Ruhul Amin Stadium. A net practice session will be held tomorrow (Monday),” he said.

India will also play two Test matches starting May 18 in Chittagong. The second match will be held in Dhaka from May 25.

Bangladesh have never won a Test series or a ODI series against India, though they registered an important ODI win over India at on their home soil 2004 and in the World Cup in the West Indies.
