10 killed in Russian cafe blast

Moscow : At least 10 people were killed in an explosion at a cafe in the Russian town of Orsk, Orenburg region, media reported Monday.

Interfax news agency quoted an emergencies ministry spokesman saying the cafe, located at the southern edge of the Ural mountains, was destroyed in the blast that occurred at around 10 p.m. (1800 GMT) Sunday.

At least 10 bodies have been recovered. The cause of the explosion is being ascertained.
