Chittagong : Viral infection has hit the Bangladesh cricket team with four players doubtful for Tuesday's third and final One-day International against India, which is unlikely to take place following a hurricane forecast.
Bangladesh captain Habibul Bashar told reporters that besides vice-captain Mohammad Ashraful, who is in a Dhaka hospital due to high viral fever, Shahadat Hossain Rajib, Abdur Razzak and Farhad Reza have also viral fever.
The team management has sent an SOS to Tushar Imran, Rajen Saleh and Mehrab Hossain junior, who were to join the team for the Test series starting here Friday, to reach Chittagong by Monday night.
The weather forecast for Tuesday is heavy rains and winds. On Monday, it rained almost the whole day forcing the players indoors.
