A Sessions Court here on May 7 asked the Mumbai police to arrest Parkar by May 16 in the case of cheating and criminal intimidation registered against her.

The court direction came after she had remained untraceable despite a non-bailable warrant issued against her.

Police were hunting for her in Maharashtra’s neighbouring states as well.

Meanwhile, the Sessions court Wednesday adjourned the anticipatory bail application of estate agent Chandresh Shah in the Wadala Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) scam case – in which Parkar’s name figures – till Thursday.

Principal Judge Ashok Bhangale said the decision regarding Shah’s physical presence during the final hearing on the plea would also be decided Thursday.
