New Delhi : A sudden storm accompanied by drizzle swept the national capital Saturday evening bringing down the temperature by three degrees Celsius.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the storm had a speed of 70 km per hour.
"Delhi witnessed the storm for just one minute and experienced 0.4 mm rainfall, bringing down the temperature from 37 degrees to 34 degrees Celsius," said an IMD official.
On Saturday, the city witnessed a maximum temperature of 39.5 degrees and a minimum of 28.6 degrees Celsius.
