New Delhi : The government Thursday approved a Rs.6.35 billion ($156 million) plan for reconstruction of Jammu and Kashmir's earthquake hit areas.
The Jammu & Kashmir Reconstruction Plan for the areas affected by the Oct 8, 2005 quake was slated to be complete before the end of financial year 2007-08, Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi said after the cabinet meeting presided over by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
