Fissures resurface in coalition: Congress, PDP again lock horns over troop cut

Jammu: The fissures within Coalition have resurfaced following once again started hunting coalition following the Congress and Peoples Democratic Party threatening each other of throwing them out of the government.

The threat by PCC Chief Peer-zada Mohammad Sayeed of throwing it out of the Coalition for ‘blowing up demilitarization issue out of proportion’ has reportedly upset PDP camp.

Sources told News Agency of Kashmir that taking serious note of the threat by PCC chief, the party leadership is contemplating to complaint about the matter to Congress high command in New Delhi.

“The party has decided to lodge its protest with Congress High Command in New Delhi for the irresponsible statement by its state president”, sources told News Agency of Kashmir.

It is pertinent to mention here that fissures between the key alliances in Jammu and Kashmir coalition congress and PDP started after the later raised the demand for withdrawal of troops from civilian areas early this year which was rejected by the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad.
