Shimla : Thundershowers lashed Shimla and other towns of Himachal Pradesh for the second consecutive day Monday further bringing down temperatures.
Even though the rain showers were light the dark clouds continued to hover with intermittent thunder and lightening through the day.
The maximum temperature in this hill town was 20 degree Celsius and the minimum 9.6 degree Celsius – at least 5 degree below normal.
Many residents and tourists switched to woollens.
Winter-like conditions continued to prevail in the higher reaches of the state in Lahaul, Spiti and Kinnaur, which have been receiving light to moderate snowfall for the last couple of days.
