Dutch flight encounters turbulence, 10 hurt

Tokyo : A passenger flight of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines ran into air turbulence on its way from Amsterdam to Osaka Wednesday night, slightly injuring seven passengers and three crew members, according to Kyodo News.

Two patches of turbulence hit the flight about two and a half hours after it took off from Amsterdam, Japanese fire fighters were quoted as saying.

The flight, with 262 passengers onboard, landed at Osaka's Kansai International Airport Thursday morning. There was no damage to the plane.

The injured were transferred to nearby hospitals.
