Kabul : Beheaded bodies of two Afghans, abducted by unknown people days ago, have been found in Rafhidan district of central Afghanistan’s Ghazni province, the provincial police chief said Saturday.
“A man and a woman were abducted by unknown people about three days ago in Rafhidan district and their bodies were found Friday afternoon in the area,” said Alishah Ahmadzai, police chief of Ghazni province.
No group has claimed responsibility for the killings yet. However, Ahmadzai suspected that militants might have committed the crime.
This year has witnessed a sharp increase in violence in Afghanistan, which has left over 5,400 people dead in the war-torn country since January.
