Kabul : Afghan police backed by the US-led coalition forces killed 25 Taliban insurgents in Afghanistan’s Uruzgan province, a statement by Afghan Interior Ministry said here Sunday.
“Police with the support of coalition forces killed 25 rebels in Deh Rawad district of Uruzgan province Saturday and seized 13 pieces of weapons,” the statement added.
Taliban have yet to make any comment.
