Dubai : The International Archery Federation (FITA) plans to showcase archery like never before. FITA has plans to build a floating platform for the archers with targets across a lake at the Madinat Jumeirah Ampitheatre for the World Cup final in Dubai from Nov 24.
The magnificient Burj Al Arab will form the backdrop as the world’s best archers compete for the top laurels.
Twelve countries will take part in the World Cup Final 2007.
The top four archers, in each of the categories, qualified through the four World Cup stages held in Europe, America and Asia earlier this year.
The finalists, who come from India, Russia, Britain, Mexico, Sweden, El Salvador, Korea, China, the US, Brazil, Italy and France, will take part in the matches.
