Islamabad, Nov 11 (Xinhua) Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf said Sunday that parliamentary elections would be held before Jan 9.
Musharraf told a press conference here that the National Assembly and provincial assemblies would be dissolved in the coming days so that a general election can take place before Jan 9.
He further said that the National Assemblies would be dissolved Nov 15 and the four provincial assemblies Nov 20.
