Kuwait City : Interior Minister of Kuwait Jabir Khalid al-Jabir al-Sabah Monday dismissed reports in a section of the press that Iran was engaged in spying activities in Kuwait, Iranian news agency Irna said.
Kuwati newspaper Al-Rai quoted al-Jabir al-Sabah Monday as saying, “The claim (of Iranian espionage) was not true and Kuwait is in complete security.”
The minister warned Kuwaiti media against publishing false reports, Al-Rai said.
A Kuwaiti newspaper Sunday reported that the country’s coast guards had recently seized an Iranian boat which was used in espionage activities by Tehran against the country.
