New Delhi : A 26-year-old official of the Indian Air Force (IAF) allegedly committed suicide at the Race Course Air Force station Tuesday afternoon, police said.
“N. Rajeshvar Singh was found hanging in an under-construction barrack inside the Air Force station at around 1.00 p.m.” said Madanjeet Singh, the station incharge of the Tughlak Road police station.
According to police, a suicide note was found that read: “I have no friends and am feeling dejected. I am under depression and no one should be held responsible for this.”
Singh, who hailed from Manipur, was posted at an Air Force office in R.K. Puram area.
Police said his body has been sent for post-mortem.
