Statistical report – Gwalior happy hunting ground for India

Gwalior : The Capt. Roop Singh Stadium here has been a happy hunting ground for India that has won six of their eight one-day internationals (ODIs).

Two of the home team’s stalwarts, Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly, will also be looking forward to adding a second century to their name Thursday at this ground. Tendulkar has also won two Man of the Match awards here.

India has won four of its six ODIs here while chasing and twice batting first.

The Capt. Roop Singh Stadium, named after Olympic gold medallist and younger brother of hockey wizard Major Dhyan Chand, was originally a hockey ground before it was converted into a cricket venue in the 1980s.
