Bhopal: The annual world gathering of Tableeghi Jamaat also known as Ijtema will start this year from 24th November. The 3 day gathering is always held in Eintkhedi near Bhopal and attended by hundreds of thousand of Muslims from all over the world.
Group of men known as jamat have started arriving in Bhopal to attend the ijtema. Jamats from UK, Ukraine, Russia, South Africa and many Asian countries have already arrived and staying in various masaajid of Bhopal.
This year attendance is expected to be about two hundred thousands and this will swell to about 1.3 million on the last day of the gathering when dua (supplication) is offered.
Local administration and Ijtema organizing committee have made arrangements for stay and food of lakhs of people. A medical camp has also been erected near the place where ijtema will be held.
