Ramadi(Iraq), Nov 21 (Xinhua) Two suicide bombers blew up their explosives laden minivan in the Iraqi city of Ramadi, capital of Anbar province, Wednesday morning, killing six people and wounding six, a provincial police source said.
The two suicide bombers parked their minivan outside a courthouse guarded by policemen in central Ramadi, some 110 km west of Baghdad, and blew it up, the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
The blast killed six people, including two policemen, and wounded six, the source said. He added that the powerful blast damaged parts of the court building and set several cars on fire.
The attack is the largest of its kind in several months as the city has seen marked improvement in security situation after the Sunni Arab tribes turned against Al Qaeda fighters in Iraq.
