Chief of Mumbai Police’s Anti-Terrorist Squad K.P. Raghuvanshi told IANS Friday afternoon that a call about the “terror truck” was made to Goa Police Control room Wednesday by a man in an inebriated state.

“There’s nothing to it. He has been identified and we will deal with him,” he asserted.

Raghuvanshi declined to elaborate.

According to a report in a section of Mumbai media, it was claimed that a terror truck loaded with explosives was headed towards the country’s commercial capital. Its target was allegedly the Siddhi Vinayak Temple at Dadar in central Mumbai.

Raghuvanshi said the city police are always prepared for any eventuality.
