Kolkata : The city police Monday evening denied receiving any e-mail threatening the Pakistani cricket team.
Denying reports that Kolkata Police had been forwarded an e-mail by a private news channel in Delhi threatening the Pakistani team which plays the second Test match here, city Police Commissioner Gautam Mohan Chakraborty said: “No such e-mail has been received.”
On Saturday, a few news channels in Delhi had received e-mails threatening the Pakistani team which was then playing the first Test in the national capital.
